Life is full of last words, but how many of them are lasting words? Words with significance and weight? As we wrap up the book of Genesis and the account of Jacob (and his family) we see in three stories a series of lasting words. Prophetic statements of what this family was to be, where they were to go, what they were to do. And most importantly, who they were to expect – Shiloh, the Messiah… Jesus. So what about us? What are His lasting words in our life? What are we to do, who are we to be until He comes?
