Thanksgiving 2013
Dec 1st – CityLight Thanksgiving!!!
Are you ready for an amazing time of fellowship, fun, and feasting?! Well get ready, bring a friend and (if you haven’t signed up for something else) try to bring a side dish, dessert, or some drinks! We will start at our regular time of 4pm. There will be a small service followed by a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
This is a great opportunity to connect your friends or family who may not know the Lord with the rest of us who do. Let’s pray that the Holy Spirit will do amazing things among us!
We will need help in a few ways:
1. Set up – around 2pm we will set up the space. We could use as much help as possible. Please email Patrick if you can make it: patrickivetka@gmail.com
2. Serving – We will have guest, kids, and simply people who need help. We are looking for a few people who can direct people, serve up food, and just use their gifts of hospitality. Any takers?
3. Clean up- This is a big task and requires as much help as possible. But together we can wrap it up quick… so the more the merrier J
Note about bringing food: We don’t have a kitchen, thus we don’t have a lot of utensils or a way to keep your food hot. Get creative in wrapping it. If you need some tips (or amazing recipes) contact Erik (erikracz@yahoo.com). ALSO, please bring your own serving spoons, self-labeled, for whatever dishes you bring. Thanks!
