“Dream Big” – Gen 37 (31.1.2011)
In the beginning God made everything good. It was the perfect dream and in a matter of days we turned it into a living nightmare. That is how the story starts. But not how it ends. For the story of the Bible is a story of God’s relentless love for us. And the story of Joseph is but a chapter in this epic tale. In Joseph’s story we get a picture of Jesus – a righteous man who suffered greatly because of others sins, but in the end would save everyone. Yet Joseph’s life didn’t start out looking too great. He had some big dreams, but his reality simply didn’t match. How was God going to fulfill His promises? How was He going to save the day? We too may ask these same questions today. Let’s explore more together in this teaching from Genesis 37 – “Dream Big”
